Realizations

How i wish that i could get back to the time when i was little, when the world seems to be a playground, and problems seems to be like nonsense. Back to the time when we still play with the rain, and dance when sunshine comes up. But then i realize that now i grow, i have to accept the fact that now i’m already a teen, that could never get back to the time when i was 5 years old. Now i realize that i’m mature enough, and i’m on the stage that i need to be thinking of my future.

As I grow old, my realizations about life became deeper. Problems get bigger, situations become more complicated. And I know that you are just like me too. Sometimes we wish we could go back, back to the time when the only man in our life was our dad. Our only best friend was our mom. And any pain could be healed by just a band aid and a lollipop.

Friendship

If you asked someone how they would define friendship, the answer will usually be:

• Someone who will always be there when you need them.
• A person who never lies.
• A person who will always put you first before anyone else.

But who actually fits that description? You have your friends & your true friends. Friends come in many people, but true friends only come once in a lifetime. A real friendship will last, no matter how far they are from you, no matter how many new people they meet, or how popular they may become. To depend on a friend to always be there for you is unfair, because if that person isn’t there, what would you do? Just cut them out of your life? If you were a good friend yourself, you would understand why & know that no one is perfect.

A friend will always tell you what sounds good or what will make you happy, but a true friend will tell you the brutal truth.

FACT: Real friends never try to avoid arguments because it will not harm the friendship at all.

They shouldn’t be scared of getting into that argument in the first place because those little arguments are what makes the friendship stronger. True friends know your deepest secrets, good & bad, & will still love you till the end but friends will only know your surface appearance. Friends come & go without explanation, but true friends will always be there, even when you think they’re not. True friends are like family; people who treat your parents like they’re theirs, people who become best buddies to your brothers & sisters. So when you say “family always comes first”, they are already your family.

Ang Musika at Ako

Hindi ako magaling kumanta, hindi ko rin pwedeng sabihing marunong ako haha, Pero inaamin ko na Bathroom Singer ako. Oo, adik ako sa music, lahat naman ata diba? haha.

Mahilig ako sa lumang kanta. May ibang kanta na sumikat noong panahon pa ng 80’s and 90’s pero hindi parin nalalaos, at hanggang ngayon ay kinahihiligan ko parin pakingan. Masarap lang pakinggan yung luma. Kalmado lang. Steady kumbaga! Chill lang! Iba ang lumang music, may mararamdaman kang passion sa kumakanta, may hugot sa puso, at may pagbibigay halaga sa salitang damdamin. Siguro dahil kokontii lang ang singers dati kaya magagaling sila. Ngayon kasi kahit “Boses Plemahin” bastasikat gagawan ng album. Susmaryosep haha!

Eto mga genre ng Music na kinahihiligan ko.

Rock at Alternative mahilig ako sa ganitong klaseng music. Hindi naman kasi ko minsan nagjajudge ng kanta base sa beat, sa ganda ng melody pero dahil gusto ko yung lyrics at meaning nung kanta.

Love songs Minsan feel na feel ko makinig kahit yung sinasabi nung kanta eh di ko pa naranasan. Masarap lang makinig minsan. Kahit Feeling lang haha.

Christian songs I’m Catholic! pero mahilig ako makinig ng songs ng Hillsongs United. Masarap lang talaga pakinggan kanta nila. Nakakainspire! Nakaka-goodvibes! Try nyo! Matutuwa si Papa God! Marami pang ibang songs na tungkol sa Faith at kay God ang kinahuhumalingan ko.

Pop, RNB, Hiphop Peyborit ko mga genre na toh! Nakakaboost ng energy. Nakakarelax. Kahit minsan di maganda ung lyrics pero maganda yung beat/melody solve solve na.

OPM. still OPM rocks! Tangkilikin ang sariling atin. Pero minsan nakakalungkot lang kasi madami ngayon artists gumagawa na lang ng revivals o cover ng ibang artists. Sana madami pa yung gumawa ng originals. Magaling ang mga Pinoy. We are all musically inclined. Kumbaga na sa atin dugo na yung love for music. Kahit anong emosyon, kahit anong sitwasyon meron kanta dyan ang Pinoy!

 Masyado lang malawak ang trip kung music sa buhay. Isa lang ang mahalaga para sa akin, ang music ay parang “Vitamins” ng buhay. Hindi ibig sabihing pag malungkot ang kanta ay malungkot din ang mood mo, minsan may mga mahahalagang mga pangyayari sa buhay natin ang ating naaalala dahil sa mga kanta. At dahil na rin sa mensahe ng kanta mismo.
Kahit minsan, hindi tayo iniwan ng musika, andiyan sila sa bawat gabing unan lang ang kasama, sa gabing sumisigaw ka sa buong mundo na masaya ka, andiyan siya sa bawat pagkikita ng magkaka-ibigan, sa lahat ng reunion, sa lahat ng family gathering at kahit sa mismong Kasal o sa Kamatayan. Sa bawat mahalagang parte ng buhay mo.
